Pelican Theatre Company Inc. are very grateful for the wonderful support given to us since the formation of the Company. Without this assistance it would not be possible to continue with the productions we have launched over the last two years.

Pelican Theatre Company Inc. is run entirely by volunteers, and our funds come from donations, ticket sales, and fundraising by the members. Mornington Peninsula Shire have donated several grants for which we are truly grateful. All of the sponsors listed below continue to support us, and in turn, we urge you to support them.

Our major sponsor right from the start, was Bowens Timber, Hastings. Faced with the massive task of building 36 stage blocks, to be used in front of the old stage in the Hastings Hall, Bowens came to the rescue. In their Dandenong roof-truss plant, they constructed a jig, then built the stage blocks inside the jig. This ensured that each block was exactly square and the same size. Bowens then delivered the blocks to us for painting. The value to us for this generous donation is immeasurable as we could never have built them ourselves. Thank you once again, Bowens, and special thanks to Ray Hamilton for your wonderful help in getting the stage blocks built and transported.
