EDWIN CREELY is a Drama and English teacher who has 20 years of  experience in theatre and teaching drama, and holds three University degrees.

Ed has directed over 30 productions, and has written 8 original  musicals and over 60 other pieces of drama. He has worked with many of the local Peninsula theatre companies and church groups, as well as in youth theatre and school-based theatre productions.

Ed has founded two other theatre companies: People`s Playhouse and Bay City Theatre Company. Ed has been a local in the Hastings area for over 13 years, and has a passion to see the local Westernport community really develop, especially in its cultural life.

Ed is also an experienced script writer with over 60 short and long plays and musicals to his credit. Ed has written much of the story-line and organised the  structures of our plays. He also wrote the lyrics to many of the songs and constructed characters and dialogue.

Currently Ed has completed his masters degree in theatre.

Ed is a founding member of Pelican Theatre Company Inc.
